In loving memory of Ronald Ashton, 83 years who passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025, at St. Gabriel’s Villa, Chelmsford. Beloved husband of Linda Mary Ashton (née McCarthy) predeceased 2023. Loving father of Brian (wife Angela) and Daniel. Cherished grandfather to Owen, Charlotte and Jack. Dear son of Theophilus and Dorothy Ashton both predeceased. Dear brother of Christine Schofield (Mike) both predeceased.
Ronald was always chasing the sun; he would pull up his chair to sit in heat and enjoy the rays. He loved watching sports, especially soccer which was his favourite and always cheering for England.
Memorial Visitation will be held at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 6-8pm. Donations in Ron’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society Sudbury-Manitoulin Chapter.
