It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rodolfo Galang Escribano on May 5, 2025, just two days shy of his 88th birthday. Born on May 7, 1937, in Manila, Philippines, Rodolfo lived a full and generous life devoted to his family, faith, and community.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Teresita and his cherished daughter Maris (Maria), who will forever hold him in their hearts. Rodolfo was predeceased by his siblings Conchita, Virginia, Gavino, and Dolores, and he now joins them in eternal rest.
A kind and humble man, Rodolfo will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, and their families, as well as dear friends in Toronto, California, and the Philippines whose lives he touched with his warmth, quiet strength, and gentle spirit.
Family and friends are invited to Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., Toronto) for visitations on Friday, May 9 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 10 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, concluding the visitation. A private cremation will follow.
Rodolfo’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
