Rod Caron passed peacefully at Hotel Dieu Palliative Care on February 10th after a courageous battle with cancer.
Devoted husband of Tammy nee. Matte. Son of the late Patricia Rideout (1990) and the late Bernard Caron (2010). Loving father of Rod Luno (Dee), Annie Luno (Dan Bento), Tammy Luno, and the late Bryan (1984). Caring Stepdad to Scott Cadarette (Lauren Willougby) and Adam Cadarette (Kaleen Edwards). Fun loving grandpa to 13 grandkids, Keci (2018) and great grandpa to 2. Brother to Brian Caron, Joe Caron (Laura), Jackie Hawkins (Gord), Christine Caron, Pauline Caron, and the late Christopher (2014) (Linda).
Will be remembered with love by his mother in law Sheila Matte and by special in laws Mike and Shannon Matte. Special Uncle to Logan Matte and Matthew Hamilton.
Rod lived his life for his family and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at London Health Sciences and Hotel Dieu Grace Palliative Care for their excellent care and compassion.

On Friday February 14th, visitation will be held from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Families First – Amherstburg, 585 Sandwich St. South, Amherstburg (519-969-5841). On Saturday February 15 a celebration of life service will be held at Families First Amherstburg at 11am. Procession to Rose Hill Cemetery for burial to follow.
