Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, Robert W. Janes age 66 years. Predeceased by his parents Archibald and Phyllis Janes, brothers Billy and Gary and sisters Marilyn Hearn, Sandra Howell, Mary Janes and Emily Janes; nephew Corey Bishop and stepson James King brothers-in-law David Power and Vincent Power sisters-in-law Loretta Woodfine and Ann Marie Churchill. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving and devoted wife Lydia son Robert (Victoria), daughters Stephanie Janes (Corey Gier), Janessa Janes and stepdaughter Darlene King grandchildren Jack, Charlie, Frankie, Jacob, Peyton, Haley as well as two sisters Darlene Poleman (Albert) and Tina Janes. Also leaving to mourn special nephew Wayne Hearn, two best buddies Frank (Tammy) King and Dave Saulter (Ruby) and special family friend Alex Kenny and brothers and sisters-in-law Mary Hapgood (Ches), Clayton Power (Pat), Mabel Janes (Blair), James Power (Teresa), Peter Power (Bernadine), Fred Woodfine and Mary Woodfine a special furry friend Maggie and a large number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Special thank you to the Smith-Stockley family especially Gail Hopkins and the staff of four south B at the Health Science Centre and first responders. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road, on Tuesday, January 7th from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. Funeral 3:30 p.m. from Caul’s Chapel.
