With saddened hearts, the family of Robert “Opie” Oatman, announce his sudden passing at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at the age of 63 years. Dear brother of Richard Oatman, Randy Oatman (Brenda), Ronnie Oatman and Tammy Harrison (Shannon). Cherished uncle of R.J., Billy, Tasha, Dustin, Kelsey, Erin, Adam, Mike, Tammara as well as many great-nieces and nephews. Rob is also survived by aunts Mildred Pourchez, Marlene Martin (David) and uncle Murray Church. Predeceased by his parents John “Bud” Oatman (1987) and Elva Kathleen “Katie” Oatman (2025) and step-father William “Bill” Oatman (2000).
In keeping with Rob’s wishes, cremation has taken place with private family arrangements. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation may be made directly online or by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted by the Oatman family.
