Robert Otto Neulitz (1965-2025) of Chepstow, formerly of Hanover, passed away unexpectedly in Germany on January 25th, 2025, which was shortly after his 60th birthday.
Born in Durham, Ontario on January 17th 1965 to the late Faye Neulitz (Gardiner) and Otto Neulitz.
Rob was a dedicated father, brother, grandfather and cherished friend. Rob was very proud of his three kids and was always quick to help out, put others first and give advice even if he was struggling himself.
Rob was a welder and a bricklayer by trade. He was a hard worker and often worked long hours and weekends so that he could support his family.
He enjoyed spending time with family and was always laughing at all the shenanigans that took place while all together. He also enjoyed fishing on his boat with family.
Rob absolutely adored his seven grandchildren. He was always quick to show them off whether it be through photos or videos. Grandpa never let anyone leave a gathering without ensuring he got to give them a big hug and kiss. He always gave his full attention to the kids and did whatever he could to make them happy, even if it was something silly like letting them do his makeup.
Loving father of Tasha Neulitz (Joshua Hutton, Ayton), Tanya Neulitz (Samantha Pica, Ayton) and Jordan Neulitz (Kristine Vandeburgt, Brockton). Brother of Brigette Grein (Neulitz), Chris Neulitz (Vanessa Scobie) and Andrew Neulitz (Margaret Neulitz).
Proud grandfather of Leah and Lauryn Hutton, Colton, Alexis, Charleigh and Nolan Johnson and Nixon Neulitz. He will be fondly remembered by extended family and close friends. Predeceased by parents and son-in-law Joshua Hutton.
A public celebration of life will be held at Ground Effects, Hanover, on Saturday May 10th at 1pm to honour Rob and beloved mother Faye.
