Robert CHICOINE Obituary
Robert Louis Chicoine age 78 of Duncan, BC passed away on February 10, 2025. He was born on November 4th,1946 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan to Fernand Joseph Chicoine and Marie Therese Rita Chicoine.
Robert was an automotive and heavy-duty mechanic and enjoyed restoring antique vehicles, riding his motorcycle on country roads and spending time with family, he was also very active in the LDS Church and community.
He was a devoted Father and Grandfather, and his family meant the world to him.
He is survived by his sister Laurianne Bertha Merman, his five children, Amber Chicoine, Andrea (Allan McNeely) Chicoine, Avery Chicoine, Aimee (Cedar Danielson) Chicoine and Alena Chicoine, his eight grandchildren, Jessa Scott, Trinity Cossette, Ella Hicks, Braeden Pasta, Liam Pasta, Ben Higgin, Luke Higgin and Luca McFadden as well as many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Raymond Chicoine and his parents Fernand and Rita Chicoine.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 1st at 1:30 pm at 1815 Tzouhalem Rd, Duncan BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation in his honor.
His kindness, gentle nature, patience, and love will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
