Robert (Bob) Job Lane
Jan 25, 1952 – June 2, 2025
Age 73
Bob was born and lived in Hare Bay around family and friends. He is the son of the late Freeman and Amelia Lane. He married Linda Dyke on March 26, 1976, and they have been married for 49 years. He filled many roles in his life. A father, grandfather, son, husband, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. All filled with kindness and devotion.
Bob enjoyed the art of conversation, family history and gardening. Always on the move, visiting was a daily routine that brought many happy memories to all he touched. Family history, whether it be his or anyone in the area, was remarkable. A green thumb was an understatement.
His memory lives on through his wife Linda; his daughter Robin (Colin); his grandchildren Kyle, Kaleb, Jayden, Savannah, Anastasia, Levi; his siblings Peggy, Barry (Judy), Mae (Clyde), Doreen, Rod; his in-laws Gail, Wilson (Mildred), Eva; and the many nephews and nieces. Bob was predeceased by son Michael; siblings John, Diane, Madge, and Pansey.
