The family of Robert Dale White
is sad to announce his passing in Fredericton NB on February
14th, 2025.
Born in Fredericton on July
22nd, 1946, to the late Harold & Mildred (MacNeil) White and
raised by Cecil and Verna Perkins of
Kincardine.
He devoted 35 years to working
for the railroad where he was able to see the country and touch many
lives.
He was a longtime associate
member of the Royal Canadian Legion in various branches across the
province. He enjoyed playing darts, gardening, working with
his hands and fixing other people’s
problems.
Robert is survived by his
daughters Roberta Ouellette (Randall), Donna White and sons Mark White
(Gail) and Mark Bordage (Brenda). Brother Keith White
(Sharon). Grandchildren include Amanda (Josh), Brittany, Branden
(Kalli), Kaleigh (Matthew), Skye (Will), Jackie, Stephen (Jess), Corey
and Ashley. Great grandchildren Alex, Elias, Ella,
Christopher, Caleb, Isaac, Axxel also several nieces and nephew and
cousins.
Robert was predeceased by his
parents and Cecil and Verna Perkins, his first wife Mavis White
(Tatlock) and second wife Jeanne White (Bordage). His
brother Harold and sisters Joan and Donna niece
Renee.
The family will receive friends
& visitors on Tuesday February 18th from 6-8 PM at
Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton. A service will
take place on Wednesday February 19th at 11AM in the funeral
home chapel, followed by a reception.
Memorial donations in
Robert’s memory may be made to Southern Victoria Cancer
Assistance Fund or a charity of the donor’s
choice.
Bishop’s Funeral Home
and Crematorium, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, have been entrusted
with the arrangements.
