Robert “Bob” John McTaggart
Surrounded by his family at home on May 30th, 2025, Bob McTaggart passed away at the age of 84. Bob was the loving husband of Edith McTaggart for 63 cherished years. Proud father of Kim (the late Joe), Rob (Jackie), and Kendra (Derek). Beloved grandpa of Ryan (Brittany), Nathan (Sydney), Leann (Andrew), Dylan, Robbie (Jessica), and Taylor (Joe). Adored great-grandpa of 10 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brothers Wayne (Judy) and James (Susan). Predeceased by his parents Jack and Pearl and his brother Gordon.
Bob worked his whole career as a turkey farmer in Komoka. He had a love for animals, both big and small. He never left the house without dog treats in his pockets and always made sure that the bird feeders were full. Bob proudly volunteered as a driver for Children’s Aid for over 10 years.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday June 18th, 2025, at 2:00pm at the Komoka United Church. A reception will follow.
