Obituary of Robert “Bob” Horvath
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert Adolph Horvath on March 28, 2025, at 90 years of age.
He is reunited with Pauline Horvath (nee Angus) and Margaret Horvath (nee Rattai).
Loving father of David (Josephine) Horvath, Peter (Teresa) Dufour and Michelle (Bill) Lepain.
Dear grandfather of Benjamin and Andrew Horvath, David and Allie Dufour, Mallory, Morgan and Joshua Lepain.
Cherished brother in law of Gerald (Beverly) Angus and the late James (Diane) Angus.
Beloved son of the late Steven and late Emilia Horvath.
Robert dedicated many years of service to Kelsey Hayes as well as working security at the Health Unit.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends and leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. He often attended Polka dances and enjoyed listening to Polka music.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at The Village at St. Clair for the years of care they provided.
Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel – South Chapel, 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7236), on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 3-5pm. & 7-9pm. Visitation will continue at First Lutheran Church LC-C, 160 Giles Boulevard West, on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 10am. until the time of the funeral service at 11am. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Those unable to attend can joing the service via livestream.
