O’Neill, Robert Allan – Age 77, of Rockland Kings Co., passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, surrounded by his family. Born December 11, 1947, in Berwick he was the son of the late Calvin and Margaret (Saltzman) O’Neill. Robert retired from Larsen Packers Ltd., Berwick, after 43 years of employment. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and watching hockey and baseball especially a Blue Jays game. Robert was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 69, Berwick. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are his children, Christine (Keith), Stephen (Shirley), Carla (Darren), and their mother, Hilda Dempsey; grandchildren, Jordan, Ariel, Desiree, Aneisa, Dontae, Triton and Aniyah; great grandchildren, Scarlett, Aria, Jetson and Aurora; brother-in-law, Darrell Geddes; nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Doris Anne Geddes. Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m., Thursday, in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448, where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 24. Pastor Christina Bigelow officiating, with a reception to follow. Burial will take place in Berwick Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada, Kings Co.
