1972-2025
Awalt, Rob “Blocky” left us
suddenly on Monday, January 13th at the young age of 52, in
Grand Falls, New Brunswick. Forever Best Friend and loyal, loving
husband to Debbie (nee Jepson); outrageous and politically incorrect
Dad to Tucker Gordon Roy, Abbey Emma Joyce and Shelby Norma
Jane. Little brother to Jeff and his wife
Michelle; beloved Grandson of the late Joyce Burke. Son in
law to Howard (deceased) and Norma Jepson; brother in law to Russ
& Susan, Ron & Luisa and Connie & Joe; special
bond with Aunt Donna Jane.
Visitation at Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B.
Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Sunday,
January, 19th from 1:30 – 4:00pm and 7:00 – 9:00pm. No
formal ceremony; private family burial.
Rob retired from CGC Hagersville Plant after 30
years. His retirement dream – although many did not
understand it – was to move out East. Together we moved to
New Brunswick and for the last three and a half months, he was a
changed man – he died living his dream with his
Family! We will remember and miss this sarcastic, cranky,
best “nick-name giver” ever, dedicated Flyers fan
– forever and always.
