In her 72nd year, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 14, 2025, after an unexpected and short battle with cancer. She was cared for well by her loving family over the last few weeks, as she amazingly contributed to her own transition, facing it bravely. Beloved daughter of Viola Thomas and the late Carl Ney. Cherished mother of Holly Groome (Joe Croteau) & Heidi Groome (Darin Watt). Lovingly remembered by her siblings Brian Ney (Katherine), Howard Ney (Denise), Wanda Ney and Gloria Cassidy (Wayne).
Family will receive friends at the Opatovsky Funeral Home – Dempster Chapel on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 pm. If desired, donations to the “Send a Kid to Camp” Fund would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
