Naugler, Richard Keith- 74, New Chester died Tuesday March 18, 2025 in St. Mary’s Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born May 23, 1950 in Halifax he was a son of the late Frederick “Ted” & Madge (Lowe) Naugler. Richard was a lighthouse keeper on McNabs Island, he then worked for the Coast Guard, sailed around the artic circle, was a carpenter for 20 years, then a self-employed fisherman. He enjoyed fishing & hunting, especially going to Cape Breton moose hunting, he also loved to travel. Survived by his wife of 53 years Beverley, children; Jody, Toby (Bev), Buffy (Tim), April (Keith), 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, mother and father in-law Elsie & Herman Bezanson, sister in-laws Marie, Sharon and Virginia, brothers in laws Jim & Perry, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandson Mitchell, brothers, Russ, Dave & Wayne, nephews Blaine & Tim, son in-law Allan. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday March 23 from 2-4 at the Moser River Community Hall.
