Suddenly at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, January 2, 2025 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Adele (nee Christie) for 55 years. Cherished father of Gord Sawers and the late Andrea Sawers. Cherished grandfather of Brandon. In accordance with Rick’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In memory of Rick, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd.
