May 18,1955 – December 9, 2024
It is with great sadness that the family of Rick announces his passing on December 9th, 2024, at Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville, at the age of 69. On his last days he was surrounded by his loved ones and friends. Rick was the beloved husband of the late Beverley. He was a loving, supportive and incredible father to Laurel (Adrian) and Douglas. Rick will be forever missed by his loving parents Frank and Leona Myers. Rick’s memory will be cherished by his dedicated sister Anne (Koloff) brother in law/ music soulmate Kevin, and nephews Christopher and Mykal (Mareena). Remembered by his brother in law Terry (Liz) and predeceased by his mother in law Betty (Bardeau). Rick will be cherished and dearly missed by many other relatives and his friends.
Rick had a love for music and inspired that passion in many others. He would love to be honoured and remembered by playing some of his favourite songs. Rick was a gentle and kind soul who has made such an impact on those who knew him.
