Richard Lloyd Hill Obituary
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Lloyd Hill on January 16, 2025. Known for his quick wit and occasional crankiness, Richard had a unique charm that endeared him to those lucky enough to call him a friend.
Known sometimes as “ Rick the Kid” or “Skippy,” Richard was a true car enthusiast, spending countless hours tinkering, talking shop, and cruising with the Roadmates Car Club in Mississauga. His love for classic cars was matched only by his passion for photography, where he had an uncanny ability to capture beauty through his lens. A lover of local blues music, Richard was often found at live shows, reveling in the raw energy of the performances.
Though he sometimes wore his gruff exterior like armor, those who knew Richard best will remember his big heart, sharp sense of humor, and unshakable loyalty. He is survived by his close friends Tricia, Andy (Kat), Rob (Kim),, and many others whose lives he enriched with his passion and presence.
Richard’s memory will forever ride alongside us, like the sound of a well-tuned engine on an open road. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
