C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Richard Gratton survenu après un courageux combat contre la maladie, le 7 avril 2025 à l’âge de 81 ans. Fils de feu Yves Gratton et de feu Yolande Pagé, il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Irène Malo, ses enfants Corine, Kim et Stéphan. Ses petits-enfants Vanessa, Sirenna et Isabelle. Son frère Denis (Danielle) ses sœurs Carole (feu Lucien), Francine (Roland) et Joanne (Réjean), ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces, cousins et cousines et amis. Prédécédé par sa sœur Rachelle (David).
Richard étant très impliqué dans sa communauté fera un gros vide dans le cœur de tous. Un service religieux aura lieu le 24 avril 2025 à 11h à l’Église St-Jean-l’Evangeliste de Campbell’s Bay, QC. La famille tient à remercier le personnel de l’hôpital du Pontiac et du CLSC pour leur bon soin prodigués ainsi que les voisins et ami(es) pour leur supports. Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la Fondation de l’hôpital communautaire du Pontiac – Oncologie ou l’Église St-Jean-l’Evangeliste seraient appréciés.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Gratton, who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 81, after a courageous battle. Son of the late Yves Gratton and the late Yolande Pagé, he is survived by his wife Irène Malo, his children Corine, Kim, and Stéphan; his grandchildren Vanessa, Sirenna, and Isabelle; his brother Denis (Danielle); his sisters Carole (late Lucien), Francine (Roland), and Joanne (Réjean); as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by his sister Rachelle (David). Richard, being very involved in his community, will leave a deep void in everyone’s hearts. A religious service will be held on April 24, 2025 at 11 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec. The family would like to thank the staff of the Pontiac Hospital and the CLSC for their excellent care, as well as neighbours and friends for their support. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation – Oncology or St-Jean-l’Evangeliste Church would be appreciated.
