It is with broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Richard Bernard Raymond on April 10th, 2025 at 80 years of age. Now reunited with his loving daughter Michelle (2011).
Cherished husband to Elizabeth Anne (nee. Johnson) for 36 years.
Loving father to Lisa (Dan) MacPhee, Len Raymond (Deborah), and Kathy (John) Trautman.
Wonderful grandpa to Richard, Jeramie, Courtney, Kurt, and Lisa, and 5 great grandkids.
Survived by his brother in law David and wife Shelly Johnson. And his close friends Tammy and Judy.
Predeceased by his parents Germaine and Hector Raymond and in laws George and Elizabeth Johnsons. Also predeceased by his siblings Rene (Joanne) and Roger (Survived by his wife Judy). His beloved pet Baby will be waiting for him in Heaven.
Richard will be dearly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Richard was a retiree from Chryslers Canada. He loved hockey especially his favorite team the Montreal Canadians. After retirement he loved to travel and golf. He took up walking, he enjoyed being outside in nature. Above all else he loved his family and friends, spending time with them whenever he could.
Donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor Es County in Richards Memory.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 15, 2025 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at FAMILIES FIRST, 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor, 519-969-5841. Visitation will continue on Wednesday April 16th from 10am until a Funeral Service at 11am. Procession to Victoria Memorial Gardens to follow.
