The family announces with sorrow the passing of Rhoda Dedock on Wednesday April 16, 2025 at the age of 95 years. Rhoda was born in Timmins, and was a life long resident. She was the proud owner of Rhoda’s Beauty Salon for many years. After closing her business, she started doing volunteer work. She was a long-time volunteer at the Lord’s Kitchen until she was 80.
Rhoda is survived by her daughter Rhonda and her husband Dave Latendresse who was like a son to her; her grandchildren Beth and Brad (Atom); her niece Brenda O’Hara and her godchild Shala Sayer.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Dedock, her daughter Myrna Dedock, her parents William and Margaret Hargreaves and by her sisters Nellie Leek, Margaret Verrett and Betty Morley.
Our thanks go out to the wonderful staff at the Golden Manor for their kindness and caring for our mom.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted with LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. A graveside committal service will be held come Summer.
In Lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to the Lord’s Kitchen would be greatly appreciated.
