Il était le fils de feu Laurette Clément et de feu Rolland Marier.
Il laisse dans le deuil sa soeur Johanne (André Colpron), ses frères André et Richard (Michel-Ange Pierre); ses nièces Nathalie, Mélanie et Ariane et leur conjoint; ses neveux Alexis et Kevin, ainsi que plusieurs autres parents et amis.
