With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Raymond Albert Bouffard, a devoted husband, loving father and a proud Papa. Ray passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the age of 80, surrounded by his family, leaving behind a legacy of love, passion, and an unwavering dedication to those he held dear. Loving husband and best friend of Dianne (Cope) for sixty years and cherished father of Kenny Bouffard (Trish), Jackie Dowswell and Michael Bouffard (Renee). Survived by brother Paul Bouffard (Martha) and sisters Nicole Oetterhagen (Volker) and Betty Bouffard. Grandfather to Shawn, Jesse, Spencer, Crystal, Alysha and Blake. Great Grandfather to Bria, Benson, Bruce and Lucas. Preceded by his parents Joe and Jeannette Bouffard and brothers Gerry Bouffard, Richard Bouffard, Carol Bouffard, and Joe Bouffard, and sisters Danielle Roy and Charlotte Watson. Ray worked as Welder for 50 years and was a proud member in good standing of Local 128. Special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at Bluewater Health for their support and kindness. Cremation has already taken place. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London line, Sarnia, Ontario, on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A celebration of Ray’s life will be held at the Navy Club, 1420 Lougar Ave., Sarnia, ON N7S 5N4, on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. Donations to the charity of your choice (cheques only at the funeral home, please).
