Ray Leslie Bruce of Bassano, beloved husband of the late Gladys Bruce, passed away in Brooks on Friday, January 17th,2025 at the age of 90 years. Ray was born in Little Ireland, Ontario to Leslie and Iva Bruce on June 20th,1934. He married Gladys (Ruttan) Bandy in L’Amable, Ontario on June 28th,1957, up to Gladys passing in 2011 they were married 54 years. Ray was predeceased his by mother Iva and father Leslie; wife Gladys; sisters, Doreen, Ilene, and Doris; sons, George and Lorne Bandy; sons-in-law, Earl, Everette and Clifford. Ray is survived by, sons, Elmer (Tina), Barry (Suzanne), Eric; daughters, Esther (Colin), Isabel (Gary), Doris, Dorothy and Lois; daughters- in-law, Violet, Denise (James), Aaron and Rusty; sister Geraldine; brother Laverne (Marilyn); many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and all his friends. At a later date there will be a family grave side service at Long Lake Cemetery in Ontario.
Cremation is entrusted to and conducted at
