Passed away at Brightshores Health Systems, Owen Sound after a brief illness on February 25, 2025. Born October 16, 1953. Rene Raymond Lavoie was age 71. He worked for Ontario Hydro and retired from Bruce Power. He is survived by his wife Judy Lavoie, his sister Rena Lavoie (George Siliva) and brother-in-law Terry Pascall (Bonnie). Also survived by nephews Daniel (Candice), Joshua (Nicole), Jesse (Janna) and Darcy, niece Stephanie (Trevor), great nephews Maxwell, Jacob and Jordan and great niece Sophia. Ray will be sadly missed by his family and friends. As per Ray’s wishes, there will be no service or celebration of life. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services, greybrucecremation.com. Thank you to the staff at Brightshores ICU and the sixth-floor staff.
