Passed away at his home, surrounded by family, on Monday January 27th , 2025, at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Susan Black (nee Harrington) for 22 years. Loving father of Lyndsay (Charles), Cory, Natasha (Ryan), Victoria (Kyle), Alexandra (Jake), Julia (Jonah), and Georgia (Jakob). Cherished grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Beloved son of Violet and the late Mackenzie Black. Dear brother of Andrew, Roy – predeceased, Edward (Rexy), Robert (Connie) and Margaret Thompson (Larry). Randy will be missed and lovingly remembered by his cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He was a dedicated hard worker, retiring from LaSarge and farming after 35 years. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Sunday February 2nd , 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow. The family would like to offer a special thank you to Dr. Grieve and nurse Christina for their excellent care of Randy. Memorial donations in Randy’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
