It is with broken hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Randy on January 20, 2025 at the age of 68. Now reunited with his parents Ronald Johnson and Joan Dupuis.
Survived by his beloved wife and best friend Karen, with who he spent 23 wonderful years.
His cherished family that included Jen (Dan) MacKinnon, Anita (Nelson) Caixeiro, Stephanie Silva (Emidio), Carrie (Marco) Arboleda and predeceased by Thomas Silva (2022).
His pride and joy was being a loving Papa and Grandpa to Aidan, Regan, Kendra, Jordan, Caden, Nolan, Liam, Emma, Dylan, and Emi.
Wonderful brother to Lee (Rhonda) Johnson, the late Joanne Jovanov, Rob (Heather) Johnson, and Melissa Williams.
Brother in law to Diane (Jim) Mayville, Mike (Anna) Dupuis, the late Richard Dupuis, Mark (Lynne) Dupuis, and David (Stacy) Schifanelli.
Randy will be forever remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Randy was retired from Honeywell, where he was a dedicated and loyal employee for 30 years. Randy also served as a volunteer firefighter with the Amherstburg Fire Department for 13 years. Randy was an avid sports fan and held season tickets for the Windsor Spitfires. To honour this we encourage everyone to wear their favourite sports attire and dress casually. Visitation will take place at Families First Amherstburg (585 Sandwich St S, Amherstburg, 519 969 5841) Sunday January 26th from 2pm – 5pm, with a celebration of life to begin at 5pm.
