Obituary of Ralph Best
Ralph Best
It is with profound sadness that we announce that Ralph Best passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, February 26th. Predeceased by his beloved daughter, Donna, his parents, Ruth and Heber and sisters Vera and Alma Jean; he leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
He will be forever missed by his devoted wife, Jean, his sons Wade (Krista) and Greg (Lesley), and his adored grandchildren, Kyle, Jonah, Alana and David, siblings Shirley (Clive), Harvey (Lorraine), Rowena (Rob), Adam and Iris (Dale) as well as a large circle of extended family and wonderful friends that he cared for deeply.
Ralph was a man of quiet strength, unwavering kindness, and a heart full of love. His gentle spirit and warm smile touched all who had the privilege of knowing him. He found joy in the simple moments—sharing laughter around the dinner table, listening to his favorite music, talking sports (especially hockey) and playing his accordion. His love of music was a lifelong passion, a source of comfort and joy that he shared with those around him. Whether through a gentle word, a steady presence, or a knowing smile, he made the world a better place just by being in it.
