Ralph Merritt
1945-2025
At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, May 2, 2025, Mr. Ralph Merritt of
New Denmark passed away at the age of 80 years. Born at New Denmark in
March 28, 1945, he was a son of the late Alvin and Cora (Stiles)
Merritt.
He is survived by two brothers and one sister, Lee Merritt (Hilda) of
Fredericton Junction, Wayne Merritt and June Alward of Perth-Andover,
as well as many nieces and nephews. Ralph also leaves behind his
special neighbors, Chris and Peggy McLaughlin.
He was predeceased by sister, Shirley Murphy, four brothers, Donald,
Fred and George Chown and Winston Merritt.
Ralph had been farmer all his life. He had worked many years at
Ashworth Farms and eventually retired from there.
Respecting his wishes, there will be no funeral services. A private
committal service will be held at the Larlee Creek Cemetery,
Perth-Andover, NB.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation to the Victoria County SPCA
would be appreciated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
