It is with great sadness that the family of Pierrette Ferrari announces her peaceful passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on March 17, 2025, at the age of 88.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph (2016) and grandsons Kevin Ferrari (2022) and Spencer Zeman (1996). She was the proud mother of Keith Ferrari (Karol), Ann Marie Chalmers (Neil), James Ferrari (Meghan), Frank Ferrari (Julie), Gina Getty (Brian), Lisa Zeman (Peter), Helen Ferrari (Denis), Stephen Ferrari (Byanka), and Clara Lauziere.
Loving Grandma to Kyle Ferrari, Kyanna (Marc) Desjardins, Hannah Ferrari (Colin), Quentin Ferrari, Dalton and Ryleigh Fortier, Spencer Ferrari (Julie), Trent Ferrari (Kari), Ellie Ferrari, Alexander Getty (Vanessa), Rebecca Getty (Mark), Tyson (Ashleigh) Zeman, Bailey Zeman, Marshall Zeman (Courtney), Jenna Robert (Nicolas), Emma Robert, Noah Lauziere, Regan Lauziere (Russell), and Brody Lauziere. Also left to mourn are her great-grandchildren, Ethan Zeman, Arya Zeman, Peter Zeman, Landon Zeman, Kohen Desjardins and Blair Getty.
Pierrette was predeceased by her parents Jean and Marie Sasseville as well as four brothers. Pierrette will be dearly missed by her sisters Claudette McQuestion and Diane Guindon, and sisters-in-law Christine Sasseville, Rose Sasseville and Elizabeth Ferrari.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the care and compassion to the staff of Extendicare Timmins as well as Dr. Ouellette, Dr. Malo and the Hospice team at the Timmins and District Hospital.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11 am at Sacred Heart Church. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. Remembrance donations to the Sacred Heart Church or the Schumacher Lions Club would be greatly appreciated.
