WEAVER, Phyllis Gwendoline – Passed away peacefully at home in the loving care of her daughter on Sunday April 6, 2025 in her 105th year. Beloved wife of the late Hubert Weaver (1987). Loving mother of Walter (Susan) Weaver, Arthur (Kerry) Weaver, Priscilla Weaver (Ken Landon) and Brent (Frances) Weaver. Caring grandmother of Stephanie (John), Matthew (Sue), Jackie (Wayne), Kyle, Tyler, Tyson (Lacey), Jordan and the late Erin (1995). Predeceased by her 9 siblings. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews in England.
Phyllis will be remembered by her family as the “Queen of Christmas”. She baked 16 dozen cookies to fill tins for her family each Christmas. Phyllis was also known for her baking skills, especially her pies (apple, strawberry rhubarb, and sour cream) and her fudge. In her spare time she loved to spend time in her garden growing vegetables and beautiful flowers that she would start from seed in her basement. Phyllis was a prolific creator of knitted, and crocheted gifts that she gave to family and friends. She had a love of the outdoors that she passed on to her family.
Friends are invited to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls on Thursday April 10, 2025 11 am to 1 pm. A funeral service to celebrate her life will take place at 1 pm with interment to follow at Lundy`s Lane Cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
