Phillip Savary of
Riverview, passed away at home on January 28, 2025. Born in Yarmouth,
NS he was the son of the late Louis and Muriel Savary.
During his working career, Phillip worked for the Canadian
National Railway and in his later years enjoyed delivering car parts
for Car Quest. In his younger years he enjoyed walking his dogs,
beaches and hunting, later in life he enjoyed reading and playing
cards.
He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife
of 53 years Janet Savary (nee Steeves), sons: Troy Savary (Dayna
Crandall-Savary), Zack Savary (Cathy), sister Lorraine Savary,
grandchildren: Caleb, Micah, Asher, Aram, Taylor and his several
nieces and nephews.
Aside from his parents, Phillip was
predeceased by his sister Gwen and brother Louis “Buzz”
Savary.
A service in memory of Phillip will take place on
Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Bethel Baptist Church 872 Pine Glen
Rd. at 1:00pm. Arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral
Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (506-869-2007).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of the
donor’s choice.
