In loving memory of Peter Wolf
1944-2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father who left us peacefully on May 2, 2025 after a very short and courageous battle with cancer.
He was a kind, steady, and loving presence in our lives — a man of quiet strength and deep generosity; quick wit and dry sarcasm; helpful wisdom sprinkled with relevant anecdotes and always ready to help those less fortunate than him.
He will be deeply missed by his family; daughters Deanna Wolf and Andrea Wolf (Pete Bergevin) and son Alex Wolf (Lexi Orbansky); grandchildren Tori Strike (Nelson Stephens) and Kennedy Strike (Luke Prezio), Peri Bergevin and Andre Bergevin; brother Alexander Wolf; his nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, US and Serbia and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Special thanks to the caring staff in the palliative care unit at Victoria Hospital who made his last few days comfortable, safe and treated him with dignity and grace. Dr. Adam Au, nurses Lindsay, Kristen, Emily, and Morgan. To Karen Black and Dr. Jessica McPherson who cared for him so well. And to all others who helped make his time here memorable, Thank you.
Respecting Peter’s wishes,
there will be no service. A small memorial will take place at a later time.
