Passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday January 2, 2025 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Joanne Tinney. Loved father of Shawna Tinney, and Mark Tinney (Melanie). Loving grandfather of Savannah, Cassidy, Joshua (Jessica), and Lucas (Hannah). Dear great-grandfather of Rhys and Ren. Brother of Helen Lalonde (Alvin), Paul Tinney (late Doreen), and Michael Tinney (Glenna). Will be missed by John Di Leo.
The family will honour his life with a visitation at the Coldwater Funeral Home, Coldwater on Wednesday January 8th from 3-6pm. Cremation to follow. A celebration of Peter’s life will be held at the Coldwater Legion on Saturday January 18th from 1-4pm, with the service starting at 1:30pm.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Peter may be made to the Coldwater Legion or to the Orillia Branch of the OSPCA and may be made through the Funeral Home.
