Peter Stafford Obituary
Peter Stafford, 81, passed away peacefully at Campbellford Memorial Hospital on January 22, 2025, after not recovering from a fall in early December. Peter was predeceased by his parents, Hilda (née Bull) and Fred Stafford, and his sisters, Debbie and Valerie. He is survived by his son, Geoff.
Peter had a passion for antiques and was an expert on North America’s best flea markets. He was skilled at restoring vintage vehicles and was known for his ability to drive a hard bargain. A loyal and trustworthy friend, Peter cherished the simpler things
in life. He enjoyed a good cup of tea with a toasted crumpet, cheered for the Toronto Blue Jays, and often reflected fondly on music from the 1950s to the 1970s, which he believed was unmatched.
Peter’s family would like to thank the medical staff at Campbellford Memorial Hospital for the exceptional care they provided during his final days. In keeping with Peter’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Friends and family are encouraged to honour his memory by donating to Campbellford Memorial Hospital and to live every day to the fullest.
