Pearl Mary (Murray) Byrne entered into rest at Victoria Manor, Lindsay on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at the age of 98. Pearl was the loved daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Murray. Beloved wife for 56 years to the late Ralph Byrne. Pearl was the beloved mother to the late Betty, Noni Campbell (Ron), the late Francie Patel (the late Rajni), Maureen McMaster (the late David), Jerry (the late Julie) (the late Bonnie), Pat (Lorraine), Leona, Danny (Sylvie), Mary Anne, Kevin (Michelle) and Martin (Joanne). Pearl was Grandmother to 28 and Great-Grandmother to 23, whom she cherished greatly. They were a bright light in her life as were her children. Pearl will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families.
While raising 11 children, she also found the time to work as a cook at the Kinvale Inn in Kinmount. Pearl spent the majority of her life in the Kinmount area and loved her time working as a cook when the Kinvale Inn was under ownership of the Vanlier, Zeus and Franzen families.
The family would like to acknowledge and THANK the staff of Victoria Manor for the excellent and respectful care Pearl was given.
A private family burial will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery, Kinmount. A Celebration of Life will take place at Burnt River Community Centre on 17th day of May 2025 from 1:00 pm until 3:00pm with words of remembrance to take place at 2:00 pm.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Donations may be made by cheque through Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay or online through the links provided below.
