Paul Lanctot
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Paul Lanctot on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at the age of 78 years.
Paul will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Lisa Lanctot ( Randy Schreuder); brother, Gerry (Diana) Lanctot; sister, Lorette St. Laurent; brother, Roland (Donna) Lanctot; sister, Suzanne (Dave) Guest; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Paul was born in McLennan, Alberta in 1946. He moved to Edmonton from Peace River as a young man in the late 1960’s. He dedicated his working life to Acklands and retired after 40+ years as a sales representative. He truly enjoyed his time with friends and family. He loved fishing, hunting travelling to warm destinations and hosted many fun filled backyard barbeques and campfires. He will be deeply missed by many.
He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Rene St. Lauren; nephew, Brian Guest; brother, Edward; and parents, Eugene and Alice.
Thank you to the staff at the Sturgeon Community Hospital for the compassionate care shown to Paul, and to many wonderful friends for their love and support.
A service will be held in spring of 2025. Cremation has been entrusted to Park Memorial.
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
