Obituary of Pauline Marie Butler
Pauline Marie Butler, a beloved wife, loving mother and dedicated nurse, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 11 2025 at age of 72. Married 49 years to her best friend and life partner Gene Butler. Mother to Meaghan (Phillip) St. Pierre, Jennifer (Greg) Cayea, Jeff (Pam) Butler and Father David Butler. Adored Meme to Benjamin, Maxwell, Liam, Kaden, Madyson and Reese. Daughter of the late Maurice and Theresa Tellier. Sister to the late Francis (Rita) Tellier, Rene (Carol) Tellier, late Louise (Dave) McVittie, late Mark (Linda) Tellier, late Richard (Jamie) Tellier, Yvette (Randy) Lewenza, and Simone (Dan) O’Neil. Sister-in-law to Mary (Tony) Durst, late Matt Butler, Eileen Butler (late Gerry Beneteau), Tony Butler, late Mike (Pauline) Butler, Pat Butler, Frank Butler (Robert Nagy), Chris Butler, Catharine Butler (Dvai Ghose) and the late Anna and Gerard. Taken far too soon, Pauline will be remembered as kind, caring and devoted to her family and faith. A lifelong caregiver, trained as a nurse at Leamington Hospital in 1971, she returned to her career after raising her family, spending more than 25 years at Windsor Regional Hospital. Our sincerest appreciation goes to the staff and volunteers at Hospice Windsor and staff at Windsor Regional Metropolitan Campus, 4 West. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor (519-253-7235) on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather directly at St. Simon & St. Jude Parish, 488 St. Charles St., Belle River on Monday, March 17, 2025, for a time of visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery. In Pauline’s memory, donations can be made to The Hospice of Windsor and Es County or Belle River Rochester Goodfellows.
