Paul (Boula) Antonious Jouraij
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Paul (Boula) Antonious Jouraij at the age of 80 on January 23, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Survived by the love of his life, Anna, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Loving dad to Joseph (Samar), Georgina (Youssef), Jeanette, George, and John (Erica). Cherished Jiddo to Anthony, Christopher, Alex, Paul, Gabriella, Mikail, and Oliver.
Paul was born on March 20, 1944 in Tourza, Lebanon, to late parents, Antonious and Frangie. He was one of eleven children; brothers: Father Francis, late Youssef, Sarkis and sisters: late Dalal, late Hannie, late Rose, late Sharifa, Najeba, Mahbouba, Maria.
After 33 years at H.J. Heinz Co. as production line lead, Paul enjoyed retirement with his wife Anna traveling, gardening, working on home projects and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved life and always started each morning with a prayer thanking God for the gift of a new day.
Paul had a passion and love for family. Many will remember him for opening his home and hosting many parties. His generosity, kindness and warm smile left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Family and friends loved his company. He will be deeply missed and always remembered.
Visitation will be held at Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Parish, 280 Talbot Rd E, Leamington on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 10am. Entombment to follow at Erie Memorial Gardens.
