Obituary of Paul Duncan James
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Paul James, whose warmth, humour and kindness made the world a brighter place. Paul unexpectedly passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 78 years of age.
Beloved husband of Janie for 58 years. Loving dad of Amy (Brian) Popowich, Rebecca (Rob) Reid, Katie (Arpad) Szabo, Susan (Shawn Russell) and Adam. Proud papa of Tori (Adam), Jessie; Jack , Ryan, Andrew; Luke, Lauren, Pete; Quinn and Myla. Dear brother of Peter James (Helen). Paul will be missed by his granddogs Sawyer, Finn, Hudson, Charlie and Zoid. Paul will also be fondly remembered by his dear friends and neighbours.
The family would like to thank the nurses at Southlake ICU for their care and compassion.
Memorial visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Road, Bradford on Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 2-5 p.m. The memorial service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, 62 Church St., Bradford on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Anglican Church or Bradford Helping Hand Food Bank.
While we miss him deeply, we choose to celebrate the joy, kindness and laughter he brought into our lives. His spirit will continue to live on in all of us.
