LANGFORD: Patrick Donald “Pat” – passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, with his family by his side at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener. Pat was born 74 years ago in Toronto, Ontario, the son of the late John (Jack) and Mary (Smith) Langford.
Beloved husband of Judith (Petherick) Langford whom he married on August 14, 1976. Cherished and loving father of Robin Langford and Rebecca Langford. Proud and devoted grandfather of Michaela Henry. He will be missed by his second mom Marie (Stewart) Langford. Survived by his siblings; Maureen Langford, Gus Langford – deceased (Judi), Joe Langford (Cindy), Monica Ferguson, and Andrea Fernandes (Tony). Pat was a wonderful uncle to John, Mike, Kristen, Erin, Stephanie, Mary, Jacob, Dominic, Hannah, Georgia and honorary uncle to his extended Lorentz family.
Pat has been a member of Holy Family Parish for approximately 50 years. His personality was huge, his laugh was contagious, and he was there for everyone with a helping hand. To quote a friend “there will never be another Pat Langford.”
In his last years, Pat could be found almost every Friday watching the New Hamburg Firebirds. He never waivered in his faith in the Maple Leafs and Blue Jays. He loved going to the “office” (McDonald’s) every morning for coffee with his friends.
Pat loved his and Michaela’s dog Charlie. Pat enjoyed playing horseshoes, cards and was an avid reader.

Relatives and friends will be received in the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St. New Hamburg on Thursday February 13, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Holy Family Church, New Hamburg at 11:00am. Father Robert Love Celebrant.
