“Patricia” Rose Anne Murphy
At the Prince Edward Home in Charlottetown on
February 23, 2025 Of Patricia Rose Anne Murphy (McCarville) of
Charlottetown and formally of Borden-Carleton in her 74th year. In the
company of her husband, family and friends, and after a courageous
battle with dementia, Patricia found peace with the
Lord.
Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Anne McCarville, her
sister Joan Crawford
and her grandnephew Caissie Crawford.
Patricia is left to mourn by her husband
Brendon,
step-children Steven (Julie) Murphy, Brian (Jennifer) Murphy,
Karen
Murphy Lee (Richard) and Jeffrey (Julie ) Murphy; her
nieces, Dawn Slocum from
Hanwell, NB, and Wendy and Greg
Crawford from Edmonton, Alberta.
Also step-nanny to
Desmond, Liam, Erin,Triston, Amber, Reid and Hannah
Murphy,
Jillian Mandel and Emily Murphy from Lethbridge, Alberta as well
as great grand step-daughters Molly Murphy and Scarlett, Aubree
and Wren
Mandel from Coaldale Alberta.
A special thank you to Marion Murphy and Father Eric Dunn for
their spiritual
assistance during Pats last days. To her
special friends of 68 years Nancy Leard,
Debbie McMurrer
and Christine Wells; and to the staff of the Blue Heron Unit of
the Prince Edward Home for the excellent care provided to Pat
over the past 6 years.
As per Patricia’s request her remains have been
entrusted to Lawless Funeral Home
Kinkora, PEI. A
Prayer service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, March 7,
2025 at 1:30 p.m., followed by Visitation from 2 to 4 p.m.
Cremation has taken place. Internment in St Peter’s
Cemetery, Seven Mile Bay, at a later
date. Donations in
Patricia’s memory can be made directly to any
Children’s Organization of your choice.
