Patricia “Pat” Margery Ursel (nee Ambrose) Obituary
In her 89th year, Pat passed away surrounded by her loving family at Carpenter Hospice, Burlington on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, Fred Ursel in December 2010. Loved Mom to Steve Ursel (Elaine), Holly Rotsma (Ben), Jennifer (Doug), Susan Maher (Kevin). Loved Grandmother to Mandy (Dave), Mike (Amanda), Andrew (Rachel), Brenden (Veronica), Daniel (Kelsey), Matthew (Becca), Megan, Sarah and Great Grandmother to Ainsley, Annabelle and River.
Pat’s life was filled with raising her family. Gardening, trips with family and in later years traveling with Fred in “the van”, were some of the things she enjoyed. Pat took special joy in caring for her dogs, having coffee with friends or family, reading and playing games on her iPad. She had a keen eye for colour and always coordinated her outfits from head to toe which was always apparent to everyone she met.
Our family would also like to acknowledge the tremendous care and support provided to Pat during her stay at Carpenter Hospice. Not only did these special people watch over Pat, the kindness and compassion extended to her family was extraordinary.
If desired, expressions of sympathy to the Carpenter Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
