Patricia Mavis Simms Obituary
With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Patricia Mavis Simms aged 60. Patricia passed peacefully away in her sleep on Sunday February 23 at her home in St. John’s that she shared with her loving son Joey.
Patricia was a devoted mother who had a zest for life despite her many health challenges. She loved her nieces and nephews and was always up for a fun game of cards.
Patricia was predeceased by her brother Terrance; her sisters Tina and Janice, and her father James.
Leaving to mourn are her son Joey; her mother Marie; her brothers Harry (Mavis), Austin (Mae), and Clayton (Cathy); her sisters Lorreta Roberts (Bob), Wavey Hibbs (Roger), Olga Sheppard (Darren), and Dana, and her brother-in-law Archie (Janice) Colbourne.
A Memorial Service will be held in Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Saturday March 1st at 11am. Interment to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Galway.
Donations in Patricia’s memory can be made to the SPCA.
