In loving memory of Patricia Marie Hanlon (nee Murphy) 85 years. Passed away at Pioneer Manor on Thursday, March 13th, 2025.
Beloved wife of 47 years to James Hanlon. Loving mother of Venessa Lavers (Brian), Denise Dallaire predeceased, Jocelyne Pharand (Edgar), and David Dallaire (Tanya). Cherished grandmother to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Daughter of Henri and Rosa Murphy (nee Leblanc) both predeceased. Dear sister of Yvan Murphy, Ben Murphy, and Huguette Castonguay all predeceased. She will be sadly missed by nieces and nephews.
Pat will be remembered as a very courageous and kind person who was quick to help others. She was an accomplished quilter. Pat was a bookkeeper at social services with the City of Greater Sudbury. She had 33 years of service, retiring in 2002. She had been an active leader in the workplace, helping with negotiating the collective agreement.
Memorial Mass at St. Kevin’s Parish, 4610 Ste. Therese Street, Val Therese on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, at 11:00 am. Friends may call at the church after 10:30 am on Saturday, May 31st. Cremation with interment in the Civic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
