The family of Patricia Gail Chiasson
(wife of Rheal Chiasson) are very sad to announce her peaceful passing
at Pine Grove Nursing Home, Fredericton NB, on February 6,
2025. Patricia was born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, on
December 4th, 1944, to her parents, the late
James and Olive (Angus) Walter.
In addition to her husband, Patricia
is survived by three sons, Don (Dawn) Seymour, Christopher (Marlene)
Seymour, Shawn (Julie) Seymour; two daughters, Tricia (Robert) Lawson,
Connie (Sahba) Chiasson; grandchildren, Nicholas, Amy, Chris, Olivia,
Emely, Taylor, Dylan, Dakota, Charly Mei, Quinn, Courtney and Jake;
many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and
cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents and
her only brother Don Walter.
Patricia spent many years working as a
hairdresser, she loved camping, gardening, baking, and had a special
love for all animals. She and Rheal took on the role as foster parents
to many children for over 15 years.
Bishop’s Funeral Home and
Crematorium, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, have been entrusted with
the arrangements. There will be no visitation or service at this time,
however, a private celebration for the family will be held at a later
date.
The family would like to thank the
staff at Pine Grove Nursing Home for their exceptional care and
compassion shown over the past few years and during
Patricia’s final days. They would also like to thank family
and friends for their love and support over the past few
years.
Memorial donations in
Patricia’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s
Society, Pine Grove Foundation Inc. or a charity of the
donor’s choice.
