Parker Alan MacDonald
1955-2025
Surrounded by his family, Parker MacDonald, age 69, of Peakes
passed away peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on February
12th after a courageous battle with cancer.
Parker is survived by his loving wife Brenda Lee MacDonald
and was a devoted father to Kendra (Peter) Pasciucco, and Kelsey
(Jonathan) Boudreau. Much loved brother of Linda Dunn (Cletus),
Donelda Bertling (Bob deceased), Heather Voutour (John MacEachern),
sisters-in-law Cheryl Walsh (Robert) and Gail MacDonald,
brothers-in-law Edward Doyle (Janet) and John MacDougall. Parker also
leaves behind several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly and many
wonderful family members and lifelong friends.
Predeceased by his parents Earl and Eileen MacDonald,
siblings Ronald MacDonald, Mary MacDonald, David MacDonald, Wanda
MacDougall, Justin MacDonald, Roberta MacDonald, and father and
mother-in-law Ernie and Norma Doyle and brother-in-law David
Voutour.
Parker’s life was focused on family, friends,
lobster fishing, hockey and baseball. He was a true Bruins fan! We
will all miss his hearty laugh, infectious smile, and his love of
teasing and playing jokes on people.
Special thanks to the Montague Home Care team, Cancer
Treatment Centre, Dr. Dawn Shea, Dr. Paul Kelly, and the staff in the
emergency department of the QEH for their care and compassion
throughout his medical journey.
Donations in Parker’s memory can be made to the
P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Center or St. Cuthbert’s Parish
Cemetery Fund.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Funeral Home. Visiting
hours Tuesday, February 18th at the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00
p.m. Funeral Wednesday, February 19th at 10:30 a.m. at Saint
Cuthbert’s Roman Catholic Church in St. Teresa.
