Obituary For Owen James Stockton
We are very sorry to have to say good-bye to our one and only son Owen Stockton on Thursday February 27, 2025.
Owen was born in Grande Prairie, Alberta on April 9th, 1994.
Everyone who encountered Owen will remember his friendly, polite and compassionate demeanor. He liked to stand for what was right. He had a beautiful smile and infectious laugh.
Owens’ childhood was spent on the Morrison farm at North Goodwin watching baby calves, lambs and pigs being born. Many friends and cousins remember visits to the farm and Owen showing them the way to the river or cabin on his little blue quad.
He always looked forward to a summer trip to Calgary, Manitoba or Shuswap.
Owen attended Ridgevalley school where he formed many relationships and excelled at his studies and many sports he participated in.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing and trapping, he was a Manitoba master angler at the age of 7.
His recent hobbies were gaming and watching movies. He helped out with any acreage chores.
Owen was a proud oilfield worker and held all of his safety tickets and a Class 1 driver’s license.
Owen faced his challenges with bravery and confidence. He was a handsome and supportive son. We were lucky to have him and will miss him greatly. We will be having a gathering at our acreage on May long weekend for anyone wishing to attend, where you can share your memories of Owen.
