Orville “Ray” “Bugsy” Aguonie
January 19, 1965 – January 12, 2025
Cherished wife of Alison Aguonie (nee Manitowabi). Dear son of Lawrence Aguonie and Dorothy Aguonie (both predeceased). Cherished brother of Ron Aguonie, Carol Aguonie, Lyman Aguonie Sr. (predeceased), Chris Aguonie, Jake Aguonie, Brenda Whiteduck (predeceased), Marlene Aguonie and Garfield Aguonie. Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends. Will be missed by his canine companions Cain, Gracie and Asiah.
He loved travelling, meeting new people and being in the outdoors. An avid outdoorsman who loved hunting especially with his brother and providing for his family. He was such an animal lover and loved his dogs. He was a current counsellor for the Sheguiandah First Nation and previously served as a chief. He was very involved in the political aspects of the First Nations.
