Oral Stewart
1942-2025
Peacefully, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown,
on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, of Oral Stewart, age 82 years.
Born in Charlottetown on November 22, 1942, he was the son of the
late Arthur and Elizabeth Ann (O’Connor) Stewart.
Oral is survived by his son; Robert Ian,
dautghter; Christine Dawn and the mother of his children; Trudy
(Machon) Stewart. He will also be lovingly remembered by his two
beloved grandchildren, his two sisters; Dorothy Plamondon (Michel) and
Ruth Fox (David), special uncle and friend, Rod O’Connor,
sister-in-law; Verna Collins and many nieces, nephews, and
cousins.
In addition to his parents; Oral was
predeceased by his beloved niece; Jessica (Fox) Hacken and
brother-in-law; Warren Collins.
Thank you to
all those who were a blessing in his life and to all of his care
givers, particularly those at the Garden Home, where he most recently
lived. Thank you to the doctors and nurses in the ER and Unit 1 at the
hospital, and a heartfelt thank you to Dr. White for his care and
compassion for Oral during his final days. Finally, a special thank
you to Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for their
kindness and consideration at a difficult time.
Resting at Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home
from where visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025
from 6-8 p.m. No funeral service by request. Interment later in Floral
Hills Memorial Gardens.
